The 25th Warwick International Conference in Applied Linguistics  will be held in a "hybrid" mode from June 27th to 29th, 2023, that is, a conference mode combining online and offline. The deadline for submission is April 10, 2023. The conference will be held at the University of Warwick, UK (the specific location will be notified later). Warwick International Conference in Applied Linguistics (WICAL) has been successfully held for 24 sessions so far. WICAL is an interdisciplinary conference, organized by students for students, and is a successful tradition at the University of Warwick’s Applied Linguistics Department. Each year, we host talks and practical workshops by renowned scholars, and give a platform for undergraduates and postgraduates to showcase their research. We aim to give young scholars the opportunity to meet and learn from academics and peers from different disciplines, universities, and countries.

The theme of the 25th WICAL is "Our Words and Worlds". Scholars from different countries will be invited to give keynote speeches, seminars, group speeches, paper presentations, and workshops around the theme of the conference. wait. We are now calling for abstracts, you are more than welcomed to contribute on three key areas:

-       Intercultural Communication

-       Language Teaching and Learning

-       Discourse Studies

This year we aim to encourage every participant has an opportunity to word your world, and we invite you to discuss your worlds in various disciplines. This year, we are delighted to be joined by four keynote speakers:
