in the previous video we created ascaled template with two fiducials and two lip splines it would be convenient to be able to apply the template to all of the recordings in your session without having to open each one and add it manually and there is a way to do that if you right-click again to open up the Edit splines dialog and under the batch process tab if we browse here in the template box we set this look for search down here for the my template and apply that so we've opened that template and we can then click in this button over here that says add template we'll make and but first it's going to  apply it to whatever is in this box here and this box is determined by these  buttons at the top so at the moment we're going to select recordings and  those recordings are selected based on this filter option so if we click this ，this filter option so if we click this filter option and we can see it's currently and selecting the current recording only which we can see there but probably we want to either apply to all recordings or possibly to filter on to exclude some recordings which I'm going to do here because I've already fitted some splines to some of the recordings here so ID filter and recordings the next the prompt string I want to exclude these first two  sentences or the first two sets of words so I'm going to say not I don't want it to have the word chalk in it first sentence and I don't want to have the word kill in that second sentence now it's possible that leave that those explosions might exclude some of the other words here and you can bracket things so it has to have chalk and dolls in the sentence and has to have jaw and sip in sentence so or we can do actually I'll just do that so we have no chalk and bones and not sure and once we got there chips  okay click on okay there we've got a whole set of sentences  in here but it starts at the zoo a badger is eliminated those first two  sentences goes on to I saw a clone two witches etc etc so we've successfully managed to select all the sentences apart from the first one and now because we've already selected the template who went apply we can just click the button says apply template only and then click the process button
