Put the transducer for measuring internal pressure into the transducer for it on the pressure calibrator.And a calibration pull down menu.Click on record pressure calibration Signal.Click on yes to clear the previous screen image.The record,When it will appear.Make sure the record level is set on forty.Make sure the recording source on the audio card is set for the iMic USB audio.Demodulation should be checked for Channel B.The offset knob on the MS-110 should be set so that the yellow light on the front panel is lit.This adjustment is not critical since the outo zero.A just feature in the software will compensate for any errors in the zero level.To lift the plunger of the syringe,The pressure release button on the calibrator must be held down.This is important,Since if the button is not held down,The transducer can experience a high negative pressure.They can damage the transducer.Check to there that the meter is registering zero pressure.If you are not confident that the meter is registering zero,You can momentarily press the pressure release button on the calibrator.Click on set zero in the record window.Now you are ready to record the pressure calibration signal set the syringe so that the meter and a calculator reads ten centimeters of water.Keeping a finger here,The Pressure Release button,Click and record,Then within two or three seconds,Press and hold down the pressure release button.The recording will stop automatically after five seconds.When recording stops,Click on close to close the record window.The recorded pressure trace will then be seen on Channel B.To complete the calibration left click anywhere before the drop in pressure,Then right click after the drop in pressure.The location of the point selected is not critical.And a calibration pull down menu.Click on Calibrate Pressure.This window asks what pressure you used for calibration;If you use ten centimeters of water,Put a check near that number and then click on OK.If you want to see the scale better,You can go to the fifteen centimeters of water scale.The pressure calibration is now complete.
