Volodymyr Babich holds a PhD in Operations Research, an MS in Management Science and an MS in Mathematics from Case Western Reserve University. His research interests include interface of finance, operations and risk management, supply risk management, supply chain management and stochastic modelling – with work published in the likes of Management Science, Operations Research, and Manufacturing & Service Operations Management (M&SOM).

Volodymyr Babich’s serves as an Associate Editor for Management Science, M&SOM, and Naval Research Logistics and a Senior Editor for Production and Operations Management journals. He is a Professor at Georgetown University and was a faculty member at the University of Michigan.
