Jeremy is Adjunct Professor of Accounting at London Business School. His previous appointments were as Reader at London School of Economics and Professor at Manchester Business School. He has held visiting professorships in France, Holland, Denmark, Finland, Sweden and Australia.
At London Business School, Jeremy’s teaching centres on financial analysis, shareholder value and value-based management. He has taught on many of the School’s major programmes and on more than 35 custom programmes, for clients from professional services, manufacturing, pharmaceuticals, telecoms, retailing, financial services and government.
Jeremy has given numerous lectures and seminars throughout Europe, the USA, the Middle East, Hong Kong and Australia. His articles on the strategic and organisational aspects of planning and performance measurement have appeared in leading international journals.
Early in his career, he was selected as the European contributor to Harvard Business School’s pioneering project, Accounting and Management, led by Robert Kaplan. A later paper was shortlisted for the prestigious Distinguished Contribution to the Management Accounting Literature Prize awarded by the American Accounting Association. Jeremy is a Fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales.
