个人简介：

蒋洪生，1972年生于湖南茶陵。北京师范大学中文系本科（1994），北京大学中文系比较文学硕士（1997），美国杜克大学（Duke University）文学博士（2010）。现为北京大学中文系比较文学与比较文化研究所副教授。主要研究方向为比较文化与文化史学、批评理论、东亚思想史。

GENERAL INFORMATION:

Hongsheng Jiang was born in Chaling, Hunan Province in the People’s Republic of China in 1972. He received his bachelor’s degree in Chinese Language and Literature from Beijing Normal University in 1994. He continued his study in Comparative Literature and Japanese Studies in Beijing University, from which he received a Master’s degree in 1997. He was an editor at the Foreign Language Teaching and Research Press from 1997-2001, responsible for editing the “International Cultures” of China Reading Weekly. In 2001, he began to study at Duke University, where he completed his doctorate in Literature in 2010. He started teaching at Chinese Department in Peking University in 2012. His current research interests include cultural history, critical theory, comparative literature, and the inter-East-Asian historical, cultural and political studies.
