【书名】:Syntactic Constructions in English 【作者】:Jong-Bok Kim, Laura A. Michaelis 【年份】:2020年 【出版社】:剑桥大学出版社 【简介】:【团购,40/人】20年最新的英语构式语法研究专著。 Construction grammar (CxG) is a framework for syntactic analysis that takes constructions - pairings of form and meaning that range from the highly idiomatic to the very general - to be the building blocks of sentence meaning. Offering the first comprehensive introduction to CxG to focus on both English words and the constructions that combine them, this textbook shows students not only what the analyses of particular structures are, but also how and why those analyses are constructed, with each chapter taking the student step-by-step through the reasoning processes that yield the best description of a data set. It offers a wealth of illustrative examples and exercises, largely based on real language data, making it ideal for both self-study and classroom use. Written in an accessible and engaging way, this textbook will open up this increasingly popular linguistic framework to anyone interested in the grammatical patterns of English. | 此资源由LingLab合作伙伴“语言学小电”提供,感兴趣可添加“语言学小电”的微信13764179404进行咨询! | |
【书名】:Mobilizing Others: Grammar and Lexis Within Larger Activities 【作者】:Emma Betz (editor), Carmen Taleghani-nikazm (editor), Peter Golato (editor) 【年份】:2020年 【出版社】:John Benjamins出版社 【简介】:Requesting, recruitment, and other ways of mobilizing others to act have garnered much interest in Conversation Analysis and Interactional Linguistics. This volume takes a holistic perspective on the practices that we use to get others to act either with us, or for us. It argues for a more explicit focus on activity in unpacking the linguistic and embodied choices we make in designing mobilizing moves. Drawing on studies from a variety of different languages and settings, the collected studies in this volume illustrate how interactants design their turns not only for specific recipients, but also for a specific interactional situation. In doing so, speakers are able to mobilize others cooperation, contribution, or assistance in the most appropriate and economical ways. By focusing on situation design across languages and settings, this volume provides new insights into the ways in which the ongoing activity, with its attendant participation structures, shapes the design, placement, and understanding of moves which mobilize others to act. | 此资源由LingLab免费提供,可点击下方的按钮直接获取!
