第五届中国-东盟青年峰会是由北京大学国际学院和北京大学东南亚协会协办的国际性模拟峰会，峰会从2016年起至今已举办四届，主要面向的人群为对中国与东盟区域课题感兴趣的高校学生，旨在为高校青年搭建一个就中国-东盟重要区域问题进行对话与交流的沟通平台。由于疫情的缘故，原定于2020年秋季学期举办的峰会将延期至明年4月份线上进行。
The 5th China-ASEAN Youth Summit is organized in conjunction with Peking University's School of International Studies and the Southeast Asian Association of PKU. It is a model ASEAN summit that gathers university students interested in China-ASEAN affairs to facilitate youth exchanges, and contribute to the building of a shared community. Through the discussion of regional issues, CAYS serves as an opportunity to deepen mutual understanding between countries and to strengthen China-ASEAN friendship. The summit, which was originally planned to be held in Fall 2020, has been postponed to Spring 2021 due to the pandemic.

活策部部长 |
Director of Events Planning
招募人数：2人
工作内容：
- 负责开幕、闭幕、破冰、线上游戏等非峰会主打学术活动的策划与安排
-与秘书长共同制定峰会流程
我们希望你：
- 极强的创新与策划能力
- 有策划大型峰会/活动的经历
- 以参会代表、学委或组委的身份至少参与过一届中国-东盟青年峰会
- 北京大学学生优先考虑
Job Scope:
- Responsible for the planning and arrangement of the opening and closing ceremonies, icebreaking, online games and all other non-academic activities
- Work together with the Secretariat to come up with the conference schedule and organize non-academic activities
Requirements:
- Innovative with strong organisational skills
- Experience in planning large-scale events/ summits
- Participated in at least one China-ASEAN Youth Summit as a participant, academic or organizing committee
- Priority will be given to Peking University students

Director of Public Relations

- 负责联系组委会对外的工作对接（如：报社、媒体）
- 负责找赞助商／合作伙伴

- 检查官方文件与宣传素材的语病

- 具备良好的沟通能力，并能使用中文和英文交流
-能够应付对外公共关系的经验
Job Scope:
- In charge of liaising with all external stakeholders (e.g. embassies, media outlets)
- Contact external stakeholders to establish partnerships and acquire sponsorships
- Liaise with and host conference guests
- Edit and proofread official conference documents
Requirements:
- Strong communication skills
- Strong language abilities (English and Chinese)
- People-centric and experience in public relations or related activities preferred

Director of Publicity

工作内容：
-管理CAYS所有的社交媒体软件（包括Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, WeChat）
-推出峰会期间的活动计划并具有创意性和开放性
我们希望你：
- 了解社交媒体的运营
- 具有策划活动经验是个加分项
- 具有良好的语言沟通能力（英文和中文）
Job Scope:
- Manage all of CAYS Official social media accounts (Incl. Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, WeChat)
- Come up with a publicity plan and follow through with content creation to publicise events
- Creation of publicity and conference videos
Requirements:
- Familiar with social media backend operations
- Good language abilities (English and Chinese)
- Experience with content creation, social media marketing or publicity campaigns is a plus
- Familiar with video-editing software
代表联系部部长 |
Director of Delegate Liaison
招募人数：2人
工作内容：
- 负责一切对代表联系事宜
- 峰会期间对代表发布各项通知
- 代表邮件的发送与回复、管理代表群、制作报名问卷、给参会代表答疑等

- 具有一定的公关意识
- 细心，沟通能力强
- 中英文语言能力俱佳
Job Scope:
- Point-of-contact for all delegates before and during the conference
- Notify delegates on important information and notices before and throughout the conference
- Manage the delegate liaision email and reply all delegate enquiries
Requirements:
- Have a basic understanding of public relations
- Meticulous with strong communication skills
- Strong language abilities (English and Chinese)

Director of Design

工作内容：
- 峰会所需的设计，包括手册图案、宣传海报、证书等
我们希望你：
- 具有设计和影片制作的能力
- 熟悉至少一个设计软件
*申请设计部部长的同学需要准备一两份设计样本上并在申请表里上传。
Job Scope:
- Responsible for all designs needed for the summit, including designing of booklets, posters, certificates, etc.
Requirements:
- Keen aesthetic sense
- Familiar with design softwares
*Applicants applying for this role will have to upload 1-2 design samples in the application form.
财务及运营部部长 |
Director of Finance & Operations
招募人数：1人
工作内容：
- 负责线上会议软件的安排
- 解决线上网络技术出现的问题
- 负责峰会前中后期资金的运用
- 整理峰会资金收入和支出的财务报表
- 峰会期间的物品流动、搬运和保管
我们希望你：
- 深刻了解会议网络出现的技术性问题，并立刻解决
- 细心、管理能力强
- 能够计算基本的账单如坏账、个人索赔、开销
Job Scope:
- Responsible for the technical and logistical aspects of the conference (such as management of online video conferencing tools)
- Troubleshoot tech related problems
- Manage budgets and financial statements for the summit
Requirements:
- Familiar with all technical aspects of the conference and able to solve problems quickly
- Proficient in calculating bills such as bad debts, personal claims and conference expenses
- Experience in logistics management

Director of Academics

工作内容：
- 负责峰会的所有学术活动安排
- 策划模拟东盟峰会，研讨会与论坛
- 学委招募与培训
- 与学术主席共同制定峰会主题
我们希望你：
- 对中国-东盟区域合作的各个领域有深入而全面的了解，并对峰会的学术安排有独到的见解
- 以参会代表、学委或组委的身份至少参与过一届中国-东盟青年峰会
- 英语能力强者优先考虑
*申请学术总监的同学需要准备一两份学术写作样本并在申请表里上传。与模拟联合国相关的写作样本会使你的申请更有力。
Job Scope:
- Responsible for the planning and execution of all academic-related activities of the summit (including committee simulation, seminars and roundtables)
- Recruitment and training of academic chairs
- Expedite the publication of all academic related materials
- Ideate different discussion topics for academic committees with the academic chairs
Requirements:
- Highly efficient and strong language abilities (both English and Chinese)
- Proficient in China- ASEAN affairs, and have a comprehensive understanding of ASEAN as a regional bloc
- Contribute unique insights into the academic arrangements of the summit
- Participated in at least one China-ASEAN Youth Summit as part of the academic committee or have various MUN experiences.
*Applicants applying for this role will have to upload 1-2 writing samples in the application form. Writing samples from past MUN or model-ASEAN conferences are preferred.
