Position: Intern, Partnerships and Resource Mobilization

You must have already completed a Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) and be completing at least a Master’s degree at the time of application. Should your studies not be divided into undergraduate and graduate stages, you must have already completed at least 3 years of full time studies at a University or equivalent institution and be in your 4th year of full time studies towards a same diploma.
Excellent command of English and Chinese (oral and written).
Good sense of teamwork, adaptability, and commitment to assigned tasks.
Good computer and IT skills and experience in using Office software packages. Strong strategic, analytical skills.
Good communication skills, including writing skills.
Majoring in international relations, public management, marketing, media and communications, business administration and other related fields. Working experiences in an international organization would be an asset.
The duration of an internship must be between four and six months, at least four days each week, full-time preferred. Physical presence in the office is preferred.
Under the direct supervision of the Partnerships and Resource Mobilization Officer, the Contractor will perform the following functions:
Assist in finalizing the Office Capacity Brochure to present the Office’s work with the aim to attract more resources.
Assist in research and mapping to identify potential partners for outreach;
Contribute to the drafting of the Resource Mobilization Plan (2022-2025) of the Office.
Assist with drafting briefings and talking points for the Director, translation, editing and proof-reading of documents, speeches, press-releases and reports.
Provide assistance to administrative tasks including coordination & communication, preparation of meetings and events, documentation and filing system etc.
Undertake other tasks that may be assigned by the Supervisor.
The aim of the internship is to provide you with professional experience in an international organization which relates to and supplements your studies.
This internship offers you the opportunity to work in a multicultural, intergovernmental organization.
UNESCO Beijing Cluster Office covers travel allowance up to RMB2,000 per month. Costs and arrangements for additional travel expenses, visa, and accommodation and living expenses are the responsibility of interns or their sponsoring institutions;
